Job summary

Signature Appraisals, Underwriting and Loss Control is seeking experienced Field Consultants to perform on-site High Value Property Surveys in the Tampa area as independent contractors (1099).

Ideal candidates have strong construction knowledge, cost estimation experience, and proficiency with diagramming tools. You will work remotely in your local market, building supplemental income or a primary revenue source.

Qualifications

• Direct experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector.
• Background in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or high-end home appraisals.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features.
• Experience estimating replacement costs for high value residential properties.
• Proficiency with diagramming software such as Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or similar tools.
• Excellent communication skills when working with high-net-worth homeowners and insurance agents.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and complete on-site High Value Property Surveys.
• Interact professionally with homeowners and insurance agents.
• Schedule and conduct on-site inspections per carrier guidelines.
• Document construction features, finishes, measurements, and observations.
• Identify underwriting concerns, hazards, and loss exposures.
• Submit timely, web-based reports meeting carrier guidelines.
• Communicate findings through Loss Control 360 on Signature site.
