Job summary

Family Entertainment Group in Omaha, NE is seeking an Independent Contract Route Technician to service 1–2 partner locations. This field-based role requires visiting each site 2–3 times per week to inspect, repair, and maintain arcade games and related equipment, with all travel managed by the contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing arcade equipment or similar mechanical/electronic systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned locations 2–3 times per week on a service schedule.
• Inspect, clean, test, and perform preventive maintenance on arcade games and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Restock prizes, game cards, and operating supplies as needed.
• Perform crane merchandising and maintain prize displays for guest appeal.
• Complete service reports and inventory updates after each visit.
• Communicate professionally with partner management about work completed.
