Job summary

Family Entertainment Group is seeking a reliable Independent Contract Route Technician to service 1–2 partner locations. The role is field-based with local travel, visiting sites 2–3 times per week to inspect, repair, and maintain arcade equipment, ensuring operations remain guest-ready.

As an independent contractor (1099), you provide your own transportation and tools, work flexible hours within service windows, and represent the company professionally during visits.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing arcade equipment or similar mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned locations 2–3 times per week on a service schedule.
• Inspect, clean, test, and perform preventive maintenance on arcade games and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Restock prizes and operating supplies as needed.
• Maintain clean and guest-ready game areas.
• Complete service reports and inventory updates after each visit.
• Communicate with partner management about completed work and equipment needs.
• Report major repairs or replacements as necessary.
