Job summary

SilverRide in Loveland, CO is seeking reliable Driver Companions to provide door-through-door transportation for older adults and people with mobility challenges. As independent contractors, drivers use a 4-door sedan or SUV (2014+), pass background checks, and maintain vehicle compliance.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid license for 3+ years, pass drug/alcohol tests, and consent to fingerprinting. You will help riders to appointments, activities, and social outings while delivering safe,

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record; a driving record check will be completed.
• Must pass Federal Transit Authority and state drug and alcohol tests; agree to random testing while active.
• Willingness to be fingerprinted and pass a criminal background check.
• No felonies or charges involving violence; not on the National Sex Offender Registry.
• Meet credentialing requirements related to senior conditioning, ADA, safety, etc.
• Drivers must agree to take passengers with service animals.
• Vehicle must be a 4-door sedan or low SUV (2014+), with 5–8 seats including driver.
• Current, valid vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
• Vehicle must pass a state-required inspection.
• Vehicle should be clean and free of smoke or illegal drug odors.

Responsibilities

• Provide door-through-door transportation to medical appointments, social outings, and other activities.
• Ensure rider safety, comfort, and dignified service during trips.
