Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC is seeking a Direct Care Provider to join our registry as an independent contractor. You will provide one-on-one home and community support for an adult male in his 30s on the autism spectrum, focusing on community integration and social skills around town.

Part-time opportunity with no evening or overnight shifts, located in Pace, FL. Responsibilities include transportation, behavioral support, and following individualized care plans, while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (gas/mileage not reimbursed).
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs.
• CPR/First Aid certification and APD training certificates required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport to community activities.
• Encourage positive behaviors and person-centered goals.
• Follow individualized care plans and behavioral strategies.
• Promote client dignity, choice, and community involvement.
• Maintain professional boundaries and respectful communication.

Compensation

$17.00 per hour

Job Type: Part Time | 18 Hours Per Week

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (2:00 PM - 5:30 PM) | Every other Saturday (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

In this role, you will provide one-on-one home and community support for an adult male in his 30s on the autism spectrum. Primary support includes community integration and social skill-building around town, including the local pet store, gym, and grocery store. This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers or special education teachers looking to expand their current case load or pick up extra hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for professional use (gas/mileage not reimbursed)
• Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Personal smartphone required for app-based scheduling and client communication
• CPR/First Aid Certification (required within 30 days of onboarding)
• APD Training Certificates (required within 30 days of onboarding)
• CNA, BLS, HHA, or DSP certifications preferred (not required)

Employment Terms Disclosure

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employment role. Contractors are strictly responsible for their own tax obligations (including self-employment taxes) and are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, health insurance, or paid time off.
