One Nutrition Group in NYC is seeking a registered dietitian to join our team as an independent contractor, with the potential to transition into part-time or full-time staff as the role develops. This flexible position supports virtual or hybrid counseling and requires candidates to be based in NYC or the surrounding area.

You will provide 1:1 nutrition counseling, perform initial assessments, and develop individualized plans while collaborating with our team and other healthcare providers.

Qualifikationen

• Must reside in NYC or surrounding area.
• Minimum of 1 year of 1:1 nutrition counseling experience in outpatient/private practice.
• Strong counseling skills with ability to conduct a full nutrition assessment.
• Experience using motivational interviewing and client-centered approach.

Aufgaben

• Provide 1:1 nutrition counseling to clients via telehealth and/or in person.
• Conduct initial nutrition assessments and ongoing follow-up sessions.
• Develop individualized nutrition recommendations based on goals and medical history.
• Maintain accurate and timely session notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed.
• Provide supportive, evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
• Contribute ideas and collaborate with the team as the practice grows.
