Thompson Child & Family Focus - A Child's Place Program is seeking an Independent Contractor–Therapist for the Outpatient Mental Health Department. You will provide assessments, counseling, care coordination, and trauma-informed interventions built on strong therapeutic relationships with assigned clients, ensuring high-quality care.

This 1099 contract offers flexible scheduling with a mix of in-office and virtual services.

Qualifications

• 10 hours a week minimum commitment.
• Master's degree in a human services-related field.
• Provisionally or fully licensed to practice therapy in North Carolina.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet credentialing/licensing standards.
• Must pass a drug screening test and extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, counseling, care coordination, and trauma-informed interventions.
• Maintain documentation meeting standards and collaborate with other providers.
• Schedule and conduct therapy sessions and comprehensive clinical assessments; some in-office and some virtual.
