Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors, providing services to military service members. The role focuses on weekend work with some occasional weekdays in Massachusetts, operating across multiple locations including remote military installations.

Active PA licensure in the state, CPR/BLS certification, and prior experience in primary/urgent/occupational health are preferred. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services - preferred.
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred.
• Able to work extended hours and travel to various locations, including remote military installations.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
