Job summary

CoviLabs, in partnership with Prosperity Path Behavioral Health Agency (PPBHA), seeks a dependable Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative lab operations. You will assist with patient intake, specimen collection, documentation, and infection-control practices.

The contractor must demonstrate accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism, handling tasks within training and scope of practice to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Patient Care Technician, or comparable program preferred.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification required or to be obtained within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
• Verify patient identity and collect specimens per CoviLabs procedures.
• Document patient information, orders, and lab results accurately in the system.
• Maintain infection-control practices and manage inventory and records.
