We are looking for a Construction Inspector to support our construction projects in Mason County, West Virginia as an independent contractor (1099). In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring successful project implementation, with responsibilities spanning construction oversight, documentation, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. As an independent contractor, you will:
Compensation is paid per the terms of your independent contractor agreement (e.g., per project, per day, or per assignment) and is reported annually via Form 1099-NEC. Contractors are responsible for their own income tax withholding, including self-employment tax, and for maintaining any required licenses or insurance.
Pre-engagement drug screening and background checks required. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
