Job summary

Aoka is expanding its network of independent inspectors to support Office of Healthcare Programs projects. You will inspect new construction and substantial rehabilitation of senior living facilities, ensuring work meets OHP contract requirements and documenting findings with photos and reports.

You’ll set your own schedule within project timelines and be paid for each inspection you complete, with compensation ranging from $350 to $400 per inspection, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Option A includes current ICC certification, or a PE or architectural license, or 2+ years of housing inspection experience.
• All inspectors must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and strong reporting skills are required.
• Comfort with digital reporting tools and photo documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule on-site inspections with property owners, contractors, and project teams.
• Inspect units and common areas for compliance with OHP guidelines and contract requirements.
• Document findings accurately, including photos, deficiencies, and required follow-up.
• Submit complete, timely inspection reports that meet OHP and company requirements.
• Communicate clearly with our team about inspection results and any issues on site.
