Job summary

Beacon Inspections is a US based inspection company serving the continental US. We hire Commercial Vehicle Inspectors on a contract/1099 basis, paying a flat rate per inspection plus mileage reimbursements.

Ideal candidates bring experience with trucks, trailers, and equipment; ASE certification preferred. You will work with minimal supervision, set your own schedule, and report findings with photos, videos, and diagnostic reports.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and organization.
• Experience with heavy vehicles or diesel/mechanical work is preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inspections and coordinate with on-site contacts.
• Capture 100+ photos and film video during inspections.
• Check diagnostics and leak/deficiency indicators.
• Move vehicles to positions for diagnostics and photos.
• Generate printable/exportable reports for clients.

Valid driver’s license
