Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Service Technician to deliver solutions for commercial kitchen equipment across restaurant and hospitality customers in the Detroit area. You will work with managers to address cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and related systems, applying mechanical skills and reading schematics.

You can earn quarterly bonuses by hitting efficiency and productivity targets and have access to training and advancement opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and other equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Drive income through quarterly bonuses by meeting efficiency and productivity goals.
