The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Commercial Garage Door Installer running your own business? ProLift Garage Doors of Lansdale is seeking skilled 1099 Independent Contractors to handle installation projects for various commercial and industrial doors in Lansdale and nearby communities.

This is your chance to partner with a recognized brand, receive project-based work, and manage your own schedule while delivering expert installations. You bring the expertise, tools, vehicle, and insurance – we provide the installation projects.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

• Expertly install commercial sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, high-speed doors, security grilles, and related hardware.
• Install related commercial operators (motors) and control systems accurately.
• Work effectively from blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Ensure all installations strictly meet manufacturer, safety (OSHA), and local code requirements.
• Coordinate smoothly with on-site contacts (supervisors, project managers) and the ProLift Lansdale team.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer interaction on job sites.
• Manage your time efficiently to complete installation projects on schedule.
• Submit clear and timely documentation (checklists, completion forms) for finished jobs.
• Prioritize safety and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications & Requirements):

• Must operate as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This is not a W2 employee position.
• Minimum 3 years of proven COMMERCIAL garage door INSTALLATION experience. Residential experience alone is not sufficient.
• Must provide your own reliable work vehicle (truck/van suitable for materials), all necessary tools, and equipment (ladders, lifts as needed).
• Proficiency in installing a variety of commercial door systems and operators.
• Welding and low-voltage wiring skills (as relevant to installation) are highly desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, strong work ethic, and clear communication skills.
