The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Commercial Garage Door Installer running your own business? ProLift Garage Doors of Lansdale is looking for skilled 1099 Independent Contractors to handle installation projects for various commercial and industrial doors in Lansdale and nearby communities.

This is an opportunity to partner with a recognized brand, receive project-based work, and manage your own schedule while delivering professional installations. You provide the expertise, tools, vehicle, and insurance; we provide the projects.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, high-speed doors, security grilles, and related hardware.
• Install related commercial operators and control systems accurately.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, and work orders effectively.
• Ensure all installations meet manufacturer, safety (OSHA), and local code standards.
• Coordinate with on-site contacts and the ProLift team.
• Maintain professionalism and positive customer interactions.
• Manage time efficiently to complete projects on schedule.
• Submit clear and timely documentation for completed jobs.
• Prioritize safety and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Operate as a 1099 Independent Contractor (not a W2 employee).
• At least 3 years of proven commercial garage door installation experience; residential experience alone is insufficient.
• Provide your own reliable work vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in installing various commercial door systems and operators.
• Welding and low-voltage wiring skills are highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Reliability, punctuality, strong work ethic, and good communication skills.

Compensation: $75.00 per hour
