Job summary

Neighborcare Health in Seattle, WA seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive obstetric and well-woman care across antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. You will collaborate with OB-GYN and perinatology services to care for low- to moderate-risk patients, while maintaining comprehensive records and ordering appropriate tests.

Qualifications

• Licensed ARNP and CNM in Washington state.
• Graduate from ACME-accredited midwifery program.
• Completion of AMCB certification exam.
• Enrollment in AMCB Certification Maintenance Program.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care for low/moderate risk obstetric patients.
• Collaborate with OB-GYN and perinatology for high-risk obstetric care.
• Offer well-woman care including contraception and pregnancy options counseling.
• Maintain problem-oriented records; order/interpret tests; prescribe meds; refer as needed.
• Provide culturally sensitive education and family-centered support.
• Develop midwifery protocols and documentation standards with partners.
• Work clinic hours and hospital in-house coverage, including nights/weekends/holidays.
