Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Texas Hearne is seeking a CDL driver to operate a fully automated side loading truck on a defined route, conduct inspections, and maintain records. You will communicate with supervisors, follow safety rules, and may work overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; CDL required.
Minimum two years of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
Must be able to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate a fully automated side loading truck on the assigned route.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
Maintain route quality standards as directed by management.
Follow safety rules and company policies at all times.
Keep vehicle clean and maintain records of services performed.
Work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate with supervisor to improve routing efficiencies.
Overtime May be required; attend safety and branch meetings.
