Job summary

Graceland Portable Buildings is seeking an Independent Contractor Driver to transport and set portable buildings. This is a contract (1099) role—you provide your own truck/equipment and insurance and are not a Graceland employee, but a partner.

Responsibilities include transporting, delivering, setting up, and anchoring buildings at customer sites; leveling and positioning with care; communicating ETAs and delivery status; using a smartphone/tablet for dispatch and paperwork; and maintaining

Responsibilities

Transport, deliver, set up, and, when applicable, anchor portable buildings at customer sites safely and on the scheduled delivery date.
Level and position buildings on-site with care and accuracy in a timely manner.
Communicate with dispatch/customers on ETAs, site access, and delivery status.
Use phone/tablet to receive dispatch details and submit required paperwork/photos.
Maintain contractor-owned truck/trailer/equipment in safe working condition.
Follow all applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements and safe work practices.
Provide professional, courteous service that reflects well on Graceland.
