Job summary

Graceland Portable Buildings is seeking an Independent Contractor Driver to transport and set portable buildings. This is a contract (1099) role—drivers provide their own truck, equipment, and insurance and operate as a partner, not as Graceland employees.

Responsibilities include safely delivering and anchoring units, leveling on-site, and communicating with dispatch on ETAs and delivery status, while meeting Graceland safety requirements and DOT/FMCSA rules.

Responsibilities

• Transport, deliver, set up, and anchor portable buildings at customer sites safely and on schedule.
• Level and position buildings on-site accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate ETAs, site access, and delivery status to dispatch/customers.
• Use phone/tablet to receive dispatch details and submit paperwork/photos.
• Maintain contractor-owned truck/trailer/equipment in safe condition.
• Follow DOT/FMCSA requirements and safe work practices.
• Provide professional, courteous service that reflects well on Graceland.
