Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have BSN preferred.
• 1 year experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
• RN license in state of employment or compact, BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Addresses learning needs and provides education to patients, families and/or caregivers.
