Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Tyler, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide independent, high‑quality care in a busy clinical setting. You will deliver routine and complex nursing care, while delegating and coordinating with other care providers to manage patient needs.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS and ACLS, and an active RN license. New hire orientation occurs within 30 days; annual competency validations are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families.
Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers.
