Job summary

Montgomery Counseling Group is seeking a licensed bi-lingual contract psychotherapist to join our independent practice in Charlotte, NC. You will manage your own schedule and caseload while receiving comprehensive administrative support and referrals from a trusted partner.

Responsibilities include conducting psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families, performing assessments, and applying evidence-based modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Current and active licensure in North Carolina at Associates level or above.
• Proven experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and empathetic listening abilities.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethics.
• Fluency in Spanish (preferred) to meet community needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, Play Therapy).
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with standards.
• Collaborate with clients to set goals and monitor progress.
• Refer clients to external specialists when appropriate.
• Adhere to North Carolina licensing rules and ethical guidelines.
