OpenAI is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for the Incubation team to imagine, prototype, and build new product experiences within the OpenAI ecosystem. You’ll work across the stack, collaborate with researchers, designers, and product partners, and ship production-ready prototypes on top of high-scale platforms powering ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Built and shipped full-stack apps end-to-end in fast-moving environments.
• Fluent across multiple programming languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and iterate quickly on new product ideas across the full stack.
• Turn concepts into functional demos and ship code early with real-world feedback.
• Validate ideas through experiments and scale strongest concepts to production.
• Collaborate with research, product, design, data science, and engineering partners to drive impact.
• Learn from experienced engineers and contribute to technical strategy and direction.
