Job summary

The Judge Group in Billerica, MA is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, components, and parts for compliance with drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements before release to production.

You will perform dimensional and visual inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools, identify non-conformances, generate NCRs, and support corrective actions alongside engineering, production, and supplier teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection instruments.
• Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems and measurement methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure conformance with drawings and specs.
• Identify defects and non-conformances that could impact product quality.
• Maintain inspection records and support traceability and supplier communication.
• Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
