Voltage Energy in Timberlake, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector – Incoming Inspection to ensure all incoming materials meet engineering specifications and quality standards before they reach production. You will act as a quality gatekeeper, performing inspections and working with suppliers to prevent defects.

The role requires 2+ years in incoming inspection or supplier quality, reading engineering drawings, and experience with COCs and ERP systems.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in incoming inspection or supplier quality.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with COCs and supplier documentation review.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• ISO 9001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 knowledge preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect incoming materials, components, and supplier assemblies.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specs, and purchase orders.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
• Review COCs, test reports, and supplier documentation.
• Accept, reject, or hold materials based on results.
• Create NCRs and coordinate containment actions.
• Maintain material traceability and inspection records.
• Support SCARs and supplier corrective actions.
• Record results in ERP/quality systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
