Job summary

Intervala, LLC is seeking an Incoming Electronics Inspector to join our Mount Pleasant, PA team. The role focuses on inspecting electronic parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.

Responsibilities include performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections, recording results, and training staff on measurement methods. Candidates with IPC-610/IPC-620/J-STD-001 certification or equivalents are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred in a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing/electronics inspection experience.
• Certification in IPC-610 and IPC-620 or J-STD-001 is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Record inspection results in data sheets, reports, and logs.
• Use measuring devices to perform precise measurements and visual inspections.
• Assist and train Quality and Production personnel in measurement methods.
• Identify and disposition nonconforming material in a timely manner.
• Contain and segregate material according to conformance status.
• Communicate quality problems to supervisor or Quality Manager.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through training and learning opportunities.

We are looking to add an incoming inspector to our team!

The Incoming Electronics Inspector will Inspect electronic parts and assemblies to assure compliance to quality requirements and standards.

• Perform acceptance activities according to quality plans, procedures, and instructions to assure conformance of material, components, assemblies, and finished goods to requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections as part of acceptance activities.
• Record results of acceptance and inspection activities by completing data sheets, reports, logs according to quality plans, procedures, and instructions
• Performs measurements and visual examinations in conducting inspections and acceptance activities
• Assists and trains Quality and Production personnel in measurement processes and methods, and in acceptability of materials, components, and assemblies
• Support activities to address identification and disposition of nonconforming material in a timely manner
• Ensure the proper containment, identification, and segregation of material, components, and assemblies according to processing or conformance status
• Report quality problems and findings to supervisor or Quality Manager
• Maintain and enhance job knowledge by participating in learning events and engaging in educational opportunities
• Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access; ERP and Sharepoint)
• Certification in IPC-610 and IPC-620 or J-STD-001
• Ability to apply and use measuring devices including voltmeter/multimeter, continuity tester, x-ray inspection, optical comparator, magnification device/microscope, eye loop, caliper, micrometer
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
• Ability to communicate effectively with all people inside and outside the organization in both written and verbal form
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality products and results
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
• Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience & Education

• High school diploma; Associate degree in related technical discipline preferred
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant job experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in electronics
