Job summary

Intervala, LLC is seeking an In-process Electromechanical Inspector on 2nd shift in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will inspect electromechanical parts to ensure quality, perform acceptance activities, and document results in the MES.

Some experience with MES/ERP systems and IPC standards is expected. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with familiarity in electromechanical assembly, wiring, and precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; an associate degree in a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC-610/IPC-620 quality guidelines and inspection documentation.
• Ability to use measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, microscope) and read job orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electromechanical parts and assemblies to ensure quality conformance.
• Perform acceptance activities according to plans, procedures, and instructions.
• Record inspection results into the MES and support disposition of nonconforming material.
• Escalate quality problems and findings to appropriate personnel.

Build what powers tomorrow-join Intervala, where advanced electronics manufacturing meets innovation, precision, and purpose. Intervala is looking to add additional Electromechanical Inspectors to our team on 2nd shift.

The Electromechanical Inspectors will inspect electromechanical parts and assemblies to assure compliance to quality requirements and standards.

• Inspect electromechanical parts and assemblies to assure compliance to quality requirements and standards
• Perform acceptance activities according to quality plans, procedures, and instructions
• Perform basic inspections as part of acceptance activities
• Defers more complex inspections to more senior inspectors
• Rarely works without guidance or oversite from more senior inspectors
• Record results of acceptance and inspection activities by entering data into the MES
• Support activities to address identification and disposition of nonconforming material
• Report quality problems and findings to appropriate personnel

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Beginner level knowledge of ERP and MES systems
• Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-620
• Ability to apply and use measuring devices including continuity tester, magnification device/microscope, eye loop, caliper, micrometer
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, process sheets, specifications, and instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high volume environment

Required Experience & Education

• High school diploma; Associate degree in related technical discipline preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant job experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in electromechanical assembly and wiring
