Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and active Colorado license.
• 12+ years of progressive litigation experience with emphasis on construction law.
• Experience handling construction defect matters and multi-party disputes.
• Strong deposition, motion, and courtroom experience.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills.
• Team leadership and supervision of associates and staff.

Responsibilities

• Represent developers, builders, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors in construction defect litigation.
• Analyze CPM schedules and delay claims; develop litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Maintain client communication and manage deadlines and caseloads.
• Oversee staff and contribute to business development.
