Job summary

Montage International in Bluffton, SC is seeking an Income Auditor to verify revenue postings, reconcile POS and financial systems, and produce accurate daily revenue reports. You will partner with hotel operations to ensure financial accuracy and support month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in Finance and Accounting, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Word, Excel, property management systems, and various POS platforms; prior luxury hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One to two years of Finance and Accounting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, property management systems, F&B POS systems, and Outlook; daily use of nearly all programs will occur.
• Preferred luxury hotel experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify revenue postings against source systems on a daily basis.
• Ensure revenues posted are complete and properly classified.
• Audit all adjustments, complimentary postings, and credits issued.
• Review and reconcile payments between POS and financial processing systems.
• Generate accurate revenue reports to department managers and respond to questions.
• Train operational associates to understand the impact of their functions on financial results.
• Assist with the month end close process.
• Prepare daily & monthly journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with guest inquiries about charges from previous stays.

Income Auditor SUMMARY The Income Auditor is responsible for auditing transactions throughout the resort using various systems reports (i.e. Great Plains, Opera, Micros, Book4Time, etc.) and issuing accurate daily revenue reports in a timely manner. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, property management systems, food & beverage point of sale systems, and Outlook; daily use of nearly all programs will occur
• PREFERRED Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree Knowledge and experience in using Great Plains

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
