Mains’l Services Inc seeks a Program Specialist for its 7th Street Centre in Chico, CA. You will support participants with disabilities in a creative environment, fostering expression through acting, theatre games, costuming, and set building.

The role requires calm, patient, social individuals who can work with limited supervision, plan events, and help manage rehearsals and performances while ensuring safety and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to make decisions for the good of the students, program, and fellow team members.
• Ability to work with limited to no supervision.
• Ability to help plan events and activities.
• Good team building skills and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and support participants in activities including acting, theatre games, costuming, prop building, painting and sets.
• Participate in rehearsals, classes and performances.
• Help monitor safety of individuals and environment.
• Provide caregiving support and supervision as needed.
