Job summary

Brockport Central School District is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for Oliver Middle School to provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement IEPs, monitor progress, and maintain effective communication with parents in an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities K-12.
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Promotes inclusive, safe classroom environments and supports diverse learning styles.
• Measures student progress and reports to parents and staff.
• Collaborates with teachers, parents, and support staff.
