Job summary

Qualifications

• Special Education expertise aligned with NYSED expectations.
• Experience applying IEP/IFSP goals to curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to communicate with families in a bilingual context.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide appropriate special education services to assigned children.
• Implement curriculum based on individualized academic, social, and behavioral needs.
• Communicate with professional staff and families of assigned students.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with NYSED/DOH regulations.
• Plan lessons and activities aligned with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Attend CSE/CPSE/IFSP meetings as necessary.
• Support positive behavior strategies and adapt materials as needed.
