Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned to IEP goals.
• Develop data systems to monitor progress toward goals and standards.
• Implement behavior plans and maintain data on student behavior and social-emotional needs.
• Guide classroom staff and provide direct instruction in inclusion or resource models.
• Provide trans-disciplinary programming through consultation with professionals.
• Conduct educational evaluations and progress monitoring for reports and re-evaluations.
• Prepare MCAS alternate assessments when scheduled.
• Assist with ADLs as necessary and support social skills training.
• Utilize assistive technology to access the curriculum and support communication.
• Support smooth transitions through positive behavior supports and visual tools.
• Maintain supplies and organize the daily schedule to meet caseloads.
