Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Northampton, PA team. This full-time role focuses on creating inclusive learning environments and delivering targeted instruction for students with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will implement IEPs, collaborate with educators and families, monitor progress, and participate in ongoing professional development to support student success.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in various settings (one-on-one, small group, whole class).
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
