Qualifications

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements in appropriate grade/subject levels (MI).
• Bachelor's degree and willingness to pursue MTTC endorsements via alternative pathway.
• Master's degree in Special Education preferred.
• Ability to use technology as an instructional tool and for record-keeping.
• Understanding of IDEA, IEPs, and 504 procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusive learning environments for students with diverse needs.
• Implement IEPs and differentiate instruction in the least restrictive environment.
• Prepare for annual IEPs and triennial evaluations with timely documentation.
• Maintain accurate student records as required by law and policy.
• Collaborate with staff, families and the school community to support student success.
