Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support in a resource room setting.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to include students in the mainstream.
• Monitor and assess student progress; adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of performance and IEP goals.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and concerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and support diverse learners.
• Assist in developing resources and materials for instruction.
