Job summary

West Essex YMCA seeks a hands-on Program Coordinator for Adaptive & Inclusive and Grown Up & Me Programs to develop curricula, teach classes, and grow participation. Responsibilities

• Teach adaptive sports, movement, enrichment, and Grown Up & Me classes for children, teens, adults, and families, including individuals with disabilities.
• Develop engaging, age-appropriate curricula and lesson plans.
• Adapt activities and environments to ensure meaningful participation for all abilities.
• Meet with families to understand needs and tailor participation strategies.
• Provide coaching and resources to parents and caregivers for learning beyond the classroom.
• Collaborate with staff to include participants with disabilities in broader YMCA programs.
