The Brandywine School in West Chester, PA is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to support students with emotional support and behavioral health needs and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will plan and lead daily PE activities, ensure student safety, prep the gym, and participate in a summer lifeguard duty. This role offers a supportive environment with small class sizes, PBIS integration, and opportunities for growth through ASCEND Career Accelerator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education or related field and Instructional I Certification required.
• Emergency certification available.
• Experience: PE or Special Education Teacher experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with children with emotional support / behavioral health preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the safety of all students.
• Plan, organize, and implement physical education activities for all students.
• Prepare the gym daily for scheduled activities.
• Serve as a lifeguard during the summer months at an outdoor pool.
• Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives.
