Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special needs is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Works with individual students or small groups in various settings (classroom, resource room, etc.).
• Carries out instructional activities as designed by a certified staff member.
• Maintains and records data on student progress as assigned.
• Assists students in following classroom and school rules and routines.
• Monitors testing and provides appropriate accommodations as directed.
• Supports implementation of accommodations and modifications per IEPs and 504 Plans.
• Assists in developing/invoking instructional and behavioral strategies for the classroom.
• Supervises testing, makeup work, or independent study as assigned.
