Job summary
Marple Newtown School District is seeking a Learning Support/ Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education and Mathematics required.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, Chapter 14 and related laws.
- Experience or familiarity with IEP development and inclusive practices preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities aligned to IEP goals and standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with IDEA and district procedures.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and accommodations.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and services.
