Job summary

The University of Florida Center for Online Innovation and Production (COIP) seeks an Education/Training Specialist II to develop accessible, engaging online courses using Canvas LMS. You will collaborate with instructional designers to enhance multimedia content and ensure ADA compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities include creating assignments, reviewing course materials for quality, and tracking progress with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Experience with online learning, instructional design, and multimedia development.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance online course content in Canvas LMS, including assignments and learner activities.
Collaborate with instructional designers on program development and review course documents for quality and clarity.
Create and modify multimedia elements such as images, audio, video, and PowerPoint presentations.
Ensure all course materials comply with ADA standards for accessibility.
Track project progress using project management tools and communicate status updates with team members.
Provide training and mentorship on established design standards and workflows.
