Job summary

East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP) is offering the Fellow, East Harlem Inclusive Learning (Special Education) Teaching Fellowship (2027-2029) in New York, NY. This two-year program trains graduates to become inclusive learning teachers at East Harlem Scholars Academies while pursuing a Master’s in Special Education.

The fellowship provides a $60,000 yearly salary, subsidized tuition, benefits, and extensive coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree conferred by June 2027.
• Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged (Arabic, Mandarin or Spanish speakers welcomed).
• Eligibility includes a liberal arts major and required general education coursework.

Responsibilities

• Enroll in graduate coursework at Hunter College as part of the Fellowship.
• Complete requirements for NYS initial teaching certification.
• Coach and co‑teach with experienced teachers and engage families in community engagement.
