Job summary

UCP Charter Schools in Central Florida seeks a K-5th Grade Teacher to lead an inclusive classroom of 12-22 students with and without disabilities. You will plan instruction, participate in IEP planning, and communicate progress to families, while maintaining a safe and well-organized learning environment.

The role emphasizes data-informed instruction, collaboration with therapists and parents, and participation in team meetings and school activities within a supportive charter-school network.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• J1 visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead a K-5 classroom of 12-22 students with and without disabilities.
• Plan and prepare instruction following the Danielson instructional framework.
• Participate in IEP team meetings and draft goals from data collected in the classroom.
• Communicate progress with families and involve them in planning strategies.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and ensure health and safety practices.
