Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking a Job Developer to deliver individualized employment services for individuals with Autism to prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful work. You will assess interests and needs, create employment plans, and provide ongoing coaching in collaboration with families and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field as a minimum requirement.
• Ability to obtain ACRE certification within 6 months of employment.
• Flexibility to work after 5:00 p.m. and some weekends.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with daily access to a vehicle.
• Complete pre-employment checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Promotes inclusive, competitive employment opportunities for individuals across diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Meets with individuals to identify job interests, strengths, and goals; creates personalized employment plans.
• Conducts skill assessments through formal tools and direct observation in community settings.
• Builds and maintains relationships with local employers, businesses, and community organizations.
• Provides employers with information, training, and resources about hiring individuals with disabilities.
• Assists with job development and negotiation; helps resolve issues during hiring, onboarding, and post-placement.
• Works with individuals to set employment goals, develop work strategies, and build autonomy.
• Provides on-site job training, coaching, and ongoing support to learn job duties.
• Mentors and collaborates with staff supporting individuals at job sites.
• Supports transportation arrangements to ensure access to work.
• Establishes natural workplace supports to foster independence and long-term relationships.
• Maintains timely, clear communication with employers, participants, families, staff, and management.

Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, Business, Marketing, Education, Psychology, or related field

Associate’s degree with 1 year relevant experience
