Job summary

Edenton-Chowan Schools White Oak Elementary School in Edenton, North Carolina is seeking an Exceptional Children’s Resource Teacher to support students with special needs. This position reports to the Principal and involves coordinating with classroom teachers to plan inclusive instruction and to implement individualized strategies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that support student learning.
• Maintain rules and procedures for classroom management and behavior.
• Deliver lessons with clear objectives and appropriate supports for diverse learners.
• Monitor student performance and provide feedback to guide progress.
• Provide timely feedback on assigned work and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Develop instructional plans aligned with curriculum goals and available resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student development.
