Job summary

Edenton-Chowan Schools White Oak Elementary School in Edenton, North Carolina, seeks a Pre-K Exceptional Children's Teacher to plan, organize and present instruction that supports both educational and social development.

Qualifications

• Degree in education or related area qualifying for licensure by NC DPI.
• Ability to manage instructional time and student behavior in a Pre-K setting.
• Experience working with young learners and inclusive classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Manage instructional time and have materials ready at start of each lesson.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules; monitor transitions and behavior.
• Present instruction with clear objectives and age-appropriate examples.
• Monitor student performance and provide feedback on progress.
• Coordinate with teaching assistants and other staff as needed.
• Perform non-instructional duties as assigned.
