Job summary

Stonington Public Schools in Deans Mill School seeks aides to support students beginning August 25, 2026. Openings: 2 full-time positions (32.5 hours/week) and 3 part-time positions (29 hours/week).

Under supervision of licensed staff, you will assist with snacks, toileting, clothing routines and other hygiene tasks; help with classroom activities, one-on-one or small group social, behavioral and academic support; read to students and help with transitions and bus duty as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher, or 60+ college credits as a minimum.
• Passing score on the ParaPathways Assessment is required.

Responsibilities

• Feeding snacks and assisting with nutrition as directed.
• Toileting, clothing routines, and basic hygiene support.
• Reading to students and providing social, behavioral, and academic support.
• Assist with classroom activities and small group work under supervision.
