Stonington Public Schools is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional at Stonington Middle School for a 32.5-hour week starting August 25, 2026. The position works under supervision of licensed staff to support classroom activities and student supervision.

Responsibilities include feeding and toileting assistance, reading to students, and implementing accommodations for IEPs. The role may involve bus/lunch duties and collaborating with teachers to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's degree or higher, 60 college credits, or passing ParaPathways Assessment.
• Ability to work with children of all ages, including those with special needs.

Responsabilités

• Assist with feeding, toileting, and classroom activities under supervision.
• Support students with social, behavioral, and academic tasks and accompany them during recess and lunch duties.
• Read to students and help with transitions and routine activities.
