Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking an Inclusive Practice Support Specialist to work with the Office of Specialized Services. You will support schools in developing inclusive instructional strategies and behavioral supports, collaborating with central office and school teams to strengthen universal design and evidence-based practices.

The role involves modeling, coaching, and delivering professional learning for staff to expand equitable access and student achievement across classrooms.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the field of Special Education or Related Field.
• Experience in culturally and linguistically responsive practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with central office staff, administrators, families and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to schools developing classroom strategies for instructional, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Model and coach on ABA, PBIS, and Universal Design for Learning.
• Develop long-term strategies to improve instructional, behavioral, and social supports for students.
