Job summary

Milford Public Schools, Stacy Middle School, Milford, MA, seeks three Teaching Assistants for the 2026-2027 school year. Shift 7:45–2:15 with per-contract pay of $19.10–$24.92 per hour based on experience and certification.

Starting date October 2026. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with Bachelor’s degree preferred, SEI endorsement preferred, and experience supporting students with and without disabilities and English learners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred.
• Experience working with students with and without disabilities.
• Experience working with English Language Learners.
• Bilingual preferred.
• CPI training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers, and classroom teachers.
• Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers.
• Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting.
• Ability to modify curriculum.
• Maintain confidential information.
• Collect data on student performance as needed.
• Assist students with daily living/self-help skills.
• Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; and
• Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
